Abstract:
This paper has put forward a teaching model for online and offline combined experimental course to solve the problems such as discrepancy of theory and practice, mechanical experiment procedures, and incomplete experiment process that are existing in the traditional experimental teaching for materials science, especially the large-scale instrument related experimental course. The teaching materials and operational processes that are displayed on the website in advance provide assistance to the practice teaching. In this case, students have the flexibility to take the initiative to acquire the theoretical knowledge before making practice, and fully understand the parts of large-scale instrument experiments that are inconvenient to show in class. By means of independent thinking during the experiments, students’ enthusiasm of learning and practical operational abilities can be boosted. As a result, the teaching model is conducive to the cultivation of students’ abilities to innovate.
