基于发光细菌的微生物开放性实验设计及实践

Design and Practice of Microbiology Opening Experiment Based on Photobacteria

  • 摘要: 针对独立学院微生物实验教学中综合性、探索性实验较少,学生普遍缺乏主动性、参与度低等问题,利用发光细菌的显光性与在实际毒性检测中有广泛应用等特点,设计一系列微生物开放性创新实验。实验设计以发光细菌作为主要实验菌种材料,对实验内容进行精心设计,教学目标涵盖微生物学实验基础技能、创新能力、分析及解决问题能力的培养。围绕教学目标将实验内容分为基础、应用和挑战探索三大模块,采用递进式教学方式,模块间相对独立而又前后关联,能够灵活适应实际教学。实践表明,基于发光细菌的开放性实验可有效提高学生的参与积极性以及课后深入学习的主动性,并对学生的实践分析能力和创新能力起到良好的促进作用。

     

    Abstract: There are few comprehensive and exploratory experiments in Microbiology Experiment course in independent colleges, and students generally lack initiative and participation. To solve this problem, a series of opening and innovative experiments on microbes are designed. The experiments base on the luminosity of photobacteria and its wide application in actual toxicity detection. In the experiments, photobacteria are used as the main microbial species, and the experimental contents are well-designed. The teaching objectives include the cultivation of basic skills in microbiology experiments, innovation ability and the ability to analyze and solve problems. The experimental contents include basic modules, advanced modules, and innovative application modules. The modules are relatively independent and related, which can be flexibly adapted to the practical teaching process. Our results showed that the opening innovative experiments based on photobacteria effectively improve students’ enthusiasm for participation and the initiative of in-depth study after class, and promote their ability and innovation.
