Design and Implementation of Virtual Simulation Experiment for Injection Molding Process

  • The virtual simulation experiment of injection molding takes the improvement of students’ engineering practice as the starting point. Based on the theoretical knowledge taught in the course of “Plastic Molding Process and Mold Design”, combined with the actual production, and taking typical parts as examples, a virtual experiment based on real experiments is constructed. The experimental platform designed the students’ independent analysis and design links, including: plastic part structure analysis, process plan determination, plastic part defect cause analysis and improvement, etc. The aim is to mobilize students’ learning interest and enthusiasm, cultivate students’ ability to solve engineering problems, and enhance students’ innovative awareness.
