Investigation and Monitoring of Hidden Safety Hazards in University Laboratory Based on HACCP Concept

  • With the rapid development of laboratory construction in colleges and universities, the factors affecting laboratory safety are becoming more and more complicated, and the risks are increasing dramatically. Looking at the potential safety hazards in the laboratory, they each have their own characteristics and their degrees of danger vary. This article applies the principles of hazard analysis and critical control point (HACCP) management, analyzes and evaluates many factors that affect the laboratory safety of colleges and universities, finds out the significant influencing factors, determines the critical control points, and through “building one team and developing two carriers and implementation of three synergies” measures to build a management method for efficient investigation and accurate monitoring of laboratory safety hazards, in order to improve the efficiency of laboratory safety, reduce the probability of laboratory accidents, and reduce the extent of laboratory accident injuries.
