Development of Virtual Simulation Experiment Platform for the Optimization Design of High-range Air-assisted Sprayer

  • Based on the “optimization design of high-range air-assisted sprayer”—a national virtual simulation experiment teaching project in 2018, the development ideas and methods of the virtual experimental platform are introduced in this paper. Firstly, the difficulties of building high-range air-assisted sprayer virtual simulation experiment platform are analyzed and the construction methods are proposed; secondly, the development scheme and software tools are explained; finally, the development examples (e.g., wind canister design, fan system optimization, swing component design, virtual assembly and evaluation) are presented to explain how to construct the virtual simulation experiment platform. This article can provide a reference for the construction of virtual simulation projects in mechanical design.
