Experimental Research on Waveform Transformation Based on First-order and Second-order Circuits

  • In the first year of electrical engineering courses for electrical majors, how to effectively combine theory with practical applications is the focus and difficulty of experimental case design. On the basis of first-order and second-order circuit response experiments, aiming at the problem that it is difficult for students to establish an intuitive connection between circuit parameters and the dynamic process of the circuit, a research experiment based on first-order and second-order circuits to realize waveform transformation is designed. In this experimental design, by constructing simple first-order and second-order circuits, the square wave signal can be used to transform triangle wave, sawtooth wave, sine wave and other commonly used signals with adjustable amplitude and frequency. The results of the implementation show that such experiments can promote students’ deep grasp of theoretical knowledge and tap students’ creative thinking.
