Teaching and Learning of Engineering Skills Training

  • To adapt to the development of the future society and cultivate talents with engineering skills, colleges and universities need to train students’ engineering skills with a suitable curriculum. School of Electronic and Information Engineering of Hebei University capitalizes on the opportunity of the Excellence Program and adjusts the experimental teaching of basic courses. This article elaborates some changes and explorations of the university to teaching and learning in the process of training engineering skills, with the example of a simulated circuit experiment project “DC regulated power supply” of outstanding and regular classes. Practice shows that by gradually guiding students to master basic knowledge and skills from the existing circuits to the teaching and learning of product design according to the needs is conducive to the cultivation of engineering skills and lays a foundation for solving complex engineering issues.
