Abstract
Higher science education is the cornerstone of higher education and the source of technological development. The knowledge economy has put forward new goals and new requirements for the cultivation of higher science talents. The new pattern of globalized economy has brought new challenges to higher science education. Traditional science education and engineering education are not enough to cope with the rapid development and transformation of the new economy. The article introduces the problems existing in the introduction of CDIO engineering education mode in domestic higher education, and analyzes the significance of cultivating science talents by using the CDIO engineering education mode. Using the CDIO engineering education mode to reform domestic higher science education, this article discusses the following four aspects: breaking through the barriers of disciplines and encouraging students to study across disciplines; using the teaching mode realized by the CDIO grouping; stimulating teachers to change to “double teacher and double ability”; taking student as the center, and reforming teaching evaluation system comprehensively.
