Exploration and Practice of the Modular Laser Processing Training

Having chosen the course system of modular laser processing training set up by Modern Engineering Training Center of Chang’an University as the research object, this paper has elaborated the main contents and results of the modular laser processing training in the engineering training, which may provide certain references for teaching reform of engineering training for undergraduates. By attending the modular laser processing training, students are more likely to expand their horizons in learning advanced manufacturing methods and means represented by laser processing technology, and participate in more engineering trainings. Furthermore, not only students' abilities to innovate and start up a business are effectively enhanced as a result of the modular laser processing training, but also the teaching quality of engineering training is efficiently secured.
