Abstract
In the new era of undergraduate education and to meet its new requirements, it is of far-reaching significance to groom extra-major ability for the development and success of college students, in accordance with the training standard of engineering professional certification for innovative engineering talents. Engineering training is an integral part of non-technical skills training and an important way to deeply integrate knowledge, ability, practice, and innovation education. By adopting the curriculum system of training engineering talents featured by “theoretical level—basic level—comprehensive level—multidisciplinary cross connection level—innovation and entrepreneurship level” in series-connected, parallel and progressive ways, this paper has forged five course modules for non-technical skills such as theory & skills, comprehensive training, multidisciplinary cross connection, international practice, and innovation & entrepreneurship. Furthermore, this paper has established the whole process evaluation system, carried out curriculum system practice such as comprehensive experiment on electromechanical control, interdisciplinary experiment on ceramics + 3D and innovation and entrepreneurship competition, in a bid to groom students’ non-technical skills in an all-round way.
