Research on the Virtual-Real Integrated, Independently Designed and Research-based Experimental Teaching Model

  • Experiments in biotechnology, required courses for undergraduates majoring in biotechnology in the College of Life Science and Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, consist of comprehensive design experiment contents. In order to adapt to educational informationization and break the limitation of entitative experiments, the research group established a highly vivid virtual simulation laboratory and virtual simulation experiments with design function, and promoted the application of the virtual-real integrated, independently designed and research-based experimental teaching model. Taking the biomacromolecule isolation and purification experiment as an example, this paper elaborates the design and implementation of this teaching model. These works have greatly promoted the experimental teaching reform and the improvement in the teaching level and quality.
