Comprehensive Experiment of Determination of Trace Sulfamethoxazole in Water by Ion Exchange Resin Method

  • Comprehensive chemistry experiment is a bridge between basic chemistry experiment and graduation thesis design. In order to train students’ experimental operation ability and cultivate their scientific research thinking, a comprehensive experimental teaching case based on ion exchange resin method for determination of trace sulfamethoxazole in water is designed and applied in undergraduate experimental teaching. The results show that the comprehensive experiment not only has easy access to materials and good repeatability, but also has sound practical value. As it can effectively inspire and cultivate students’ innovative thinking and practical ability, it is suitable for the experimental teaching of chemistry, environmental science and engineering, biological science and technology and other related majors catering to advanced undergraduates.
