Practice of the “Comprehensive Design” Course Teaching Reform Under the Background of the New Engineering

  • Under the background of the new engineering construction and development, the School of Information and Software Engineering of UESTC has built a core curriculum platform, among which the course of “comprehensive design of information engineering” is a core practical course to improve professional engineering ability. Combined with the training objectives, the course group has reformed the teaching mode and assessment method of the course. Through the comprehensive design of Ⅰ, Ⅱ, and Ⅲ the step-by-step engineering ability training mode from function to index and then to system is realized, aiming to cultivate the engineering ability of students to put forward questions and solve problems with knowledge. Curriculum optimization needs to be further explored in order to obtain better teaching results and higher teaching quality.
