Design and Realization of Simple Oscilloscope

  • This paper introduces a case design of a cross-platform simple oscilloscope system based on FPGA and MATLAB. Through the experiment, students can master the principle of serial communication, build serial data transceiver circuit with Verilog language, RAM data storage module, TLC549 driver circuit and upper computer graphic user interface. The experiment case is based on the APP Designer of FPGA and MATLAB, which can integrate digital design with curriculum knowledge of FPGA, signal and system, EDA technology and so on. Through the experiment, students can get the interactive engineering training of parallel programming idea and serial programming idea, improve the top-level design ability of the system, and train their innovative practice ability in the cross-disciplinary knowledge fusion and cross-platform design.
