Reform and Practice of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Experimental Teaching

  • The traditional nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) class mainly adopts theory-based classroom teaching, which rarely involves experimental teaching. In addition, it is difficult to achieve the expected teaching effect on the principles and methods of NMR only by theoretical teaching model. The Analytical and Testing Center of Sichuan University has offered a one-semester practical course on NMR skills training, on which the hierarchical open teaching is applied, theoretical knowledge is accompanied by practical learning, sample analysis practice is emphasized, NMR application training is strengthened, research-oriented teaching experiment is introduced, student-centered and team cooperation are implemented, among others. The practice teaching model can improve the enthusiasm and initiative of learning and improve their comprehensive practical ability.
