Research on the Cultivation of Innovative and Experimental Ability Based on Material Analysis and Testing Center

The cultivation of innovative talents is an important goal of higher education in China. The material analysis and testing center is an important place to cultivate students’ innovative and practical ability. Based on the current situation of the material analysis and testing center in Chongqing University of Science and Technology, the problems existing in the cultivation of students’ innovative and practical ability have been put forward. Moreover, this article elaborates on establishing and improving the guarantee mechanism for the cultivation of students’ innovative and practical ability, exploring the new mode of practical teaching, strengthening the opening of equipment in the material analysis and testing center, building students’ innovative practice team, organizing and guiding students’ scientific and technological competitions. The cultivation of students’ innovative and practical ability can been strengthened depending on the sufficient and effective use of the resources of the analysis center.
