Design and Implementation of Experimental Teaching of Automatic Test System Course in the Pandemic

  • Automatic test system course is a highly practical course. Students learn how to write Standard Commands for Programmable Instruments (SCPI) and test software through experiments. In the experiment, students need to interact with the instrument, observe the response of the instrument to the test command, and complete the test program debugging. In consideration of the problem that students could not reach the experimental site during the pandemic, the course team used the cloud platform of the experiment center to redesign the experiment content by adopting an experimental design which combines virtual simulation experiments and remote experiments. The need of man-instrument interaction in remote experiment has been satisfied with the help of WebPanel technology of virtual machine and LXI instrument, this design can achieve the same teaching effect as the field experiments.
