Development of Visualized Spray Experiment Platform

  • A visualized spray experiment platform composed of visualized constant volume chamber, oil supply system, air supply system, and image capture and processing system is developed. The platform helps conduct spray experiments at different conditions by changing injection back pressure, injection pressure and injection pulse width, among others, and calibrate flow characteristics of fuel injector. The flexibility of design software helps expand students’ explorations in spray under fuel injection strategies such as multiple injections, and train students’ graphical programming ability based on LabVIEW.
