Research on University Data Governance Driven by Data Service

In the era of big data, data governance is an important measure to improve the ability of data service in universities. This paper expounds the object, content and importance of university data service. In view of the problems of data management and service in universities, such as lacking unified data standards, inaccurate content, unreasonable data collection method, lacking of data sharing and analysis mechanism, this paper puts forward the following countermeasures, including the establishment of data governance mechanism and process system, the construction of big data platform. In this way, data governance can be strengthened, the effectiveness of data services can be improved. And this paper takes the typical applications of data service as examples to analyze and prospect the optimization objectives of data service in universities in the future.
