Abstract
The traditional teaching courses of medical experimental zoology build a knowledge framework of laboratory animals for students and improve their experimental operation ability, but there is still a long way to go for the cultivation of innovative medical talents. In order to adapt to the country’s demand for the cultivation of innovative talents, scientific research experimental projects oriented by college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship projects have been added to the teaching of medical experimental zoology. By reforming the course teaching and assessment methods, the content of the medical experimental zoology has been enriched, students' learning enthusiasm has been excited and the innovation ability of experimental and scientific research have been improved, which greatly improves the teaching effect of medical experimental zoology.
