Research on University Specialized Laboratory Information Management

With the management of the microelectronic laboratory of Xiamen University of Technology as an example, this paper states the problems in the university specialized laboratory management and describes the present situation of the laboratory information management, which including applying large-scale instrument and equipment sharing service platform to manage the research equipment and applying laboratory access control management system to manage labs. On these basis, a brand new specialized laboratory online management method is proposed, the relevant functional modules are discussed and the programming interfaces are partially shown. Not only does this management method enhance the understanding of the equipment and labs for students and teachers, but this new method improves the management efficiency for the lab manager.
