Practical Teaching Practice and Innovation of Virtual Simulation for Petroleum and Petrochemistry from the Perspective of Whole Industry Chain

Relying on the construction of the Engineering Training Center of Xi’an Shiyou University, Experimental Teaching Center of Virtual Simulation for Petroleum and Petrochemistry of Shaanxi Province has already built a large-scale comprehensive virtual simulation practice teaching platform characterized by cross-disciplinary training throughout the“whole industry chain” of petroleum and petrochemistry, which integrates systematicness, multidisciplinarity and versatility. There are 6 training functional zones and 13 training modules in the platform, and the new practical teaching model of “two modules, three models, four levels and five combinations” is summarized and condensed, which directly or indirectly supports the development of teaching activities such as the second class, graduation project, academic competition and popular science education. It provides new methods for the training of high-level innovative engineering talents in the petroleum and petrochemical industry.
