Promoting the Cultivation of Innovative Talents in Biomedical Engineering with the Idea of “Learning for Application and Competition for Learning”

Biomedical engineering, as an interdisciplinary subject, has been exploring suitable talent training programs responding to the idea of connotative development of our university. Base on the process of hosting National Undergraduate Biomedical Engineering Innovation Design Competition, this paper discusses the application of this idea and how to further promote the specialty construction and bright light on promoting the cultivation of innovative talents, to provide beneficial thoughts on the development and talent cultivation of biomedical engineering in colleges and universities.
