Research on Online and Offline Mixed Teaching of Environmental Experiments

  • As the outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the in-class experimental teaching could not be carried out. A new online and offline mixed experimental teaching mode of “no class, no school” was taken out under the background of emerging engineering education construction. With the help of “learning in Zhejiang University” teaching platform, the experiment content was taught mostly online, with the experimental equipment being operated offline. Take “measurement and analysis of PM2.5” course for example, the monitoring data of the public platform were downloaded as experimental data. The change in PM2.5 concentration in Hangzhou from 2016 to 2020 was compared, and the meteorological factors and control measures for COVID-19 were discussed. Using the online resources in ecological environment, measurement data is no longer limited to class time. The data analysis will be more comprehensive and the effect of experimental teaching could be greatly improved.
