Research on the Concentrated and Unified Management of University Teaching Laboratory

The university teaching laboratory is an important place for students to consolidate foundation, broaden knowledge, improve ability and enhance quality. In oder to improve the laboratory management level, integrate the decentralized laboratory and teaching resources, School of Energy and Power Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology established a multi-disciplinary experimental center. The existing problems combined with the development of experiment teaching center, such as scattered professional laboratories, antiquated rules and regulations, unclear responsibility of experimental technicians, are summarized and explored. A series of reforms and optimizations have been carried out, from the aspects of construction of environmental conditions of laboratories, construction of rules and regulations, construction of teaching staff. It realizes the concentrated and unified management of teaching laboratory, ensures the smooth running of experimental teaching, guarantees that the teaching laboratories can really play its due role.
