Abstract
Combining with the problems existing in soil mechanics experimental teaching and concerning the soil mechanics issues of professional research, aiming at the cultivation of students’ practical ability, we carried out experimental teaching reform. We proposed experimental topics with strong autonomy, openness, and practicality to enhance the design and comprehensiveness of the curriculum. Students are responsible for the entire process of research background, scheme design, experimental preparation, experimental testing, and result analysis in the form of project teams, to stimulate learning initiative, improve practical and innovative abilities, and it has positive teaching effect and demonstration significance.
