Design and Application of Simulative Experiment Platform for Enhanced Heat Transfer in Geothermal Single Well

  • The “heat extraction without water” technology for geothermal single wells has gradually gained attention due to its advantages of low energy consumption and no pollution. However, this development method has low heat extraction efficiency and limited temperature rise. By installing convection devices in the horizontal wellbore, the forced circulation of formation water can be achieved, which can expand the range of heat waves and improve the heat extraction effect. On this basis, a simulation experiment platform for enhanced heat transfer of geothermal single well was built to study the influence of reservoir physical and process parameters on the development effect of forced convection geothermal. Through experiments, students can better understand the role of basic principles of heat transfer in geothermal energy development engineering, and cultivate their ability to comprehensively analyze theory and scientific research practice. In addition, the development of this experimental platform plays a positive role in cultivating diverse and innovative talents under the new energy situation.
