Abstract
Genetics is one of the core basic courses for life science majors in colleges and universities. The teaching of genetics experiment also plays a very important role. In the current genetics experimental teaching, it is the key and difficult point to verify the three laws of classical genetics through fruit fly hybridization experiment, and it is also one of the core contents of the experimental teaching. In view of the problems of traditional fruit fly hybridization experiment teaching mode, the virtual simulation teaching, a new teaching method emerging in the background of education information, was applied to develope a virtual simulation experiment system for fruit fly hybridization and design the online and offline hybrid teaching mode of classical genetic experiment, which effectively integrated the learning resources, improve the quality of experimental teaching and cultivate students’ ability of scientific research quality and innovation.
