Research on a Virtual-Real Integration Teaching Model for Geography Field Practice

  • Geography field practice is a crucial component of geography education, playing a significant role in cultivating students’ practical abilities and overall competencies. Addressing the limitations of traditional geography fieldwork, such as high costs, limited time, and the lack of glacial geographical environments, this paper proposes an integrated virtual-real field practice teaching model for geography. This model combines virtual reality technology with on-site investigations, constructing virtual geographical environments that allow students to engage in geographical practice activities, thereby aiming to enhance students’ practical and innovative capabilities, and improve the effectiveness of geography field practice.
