Abstract
To improve the quality of engineering practice education and promote the cultivation of outstanding engineers, this paper develops a comprehensive practical training project in laser processing aimed at solving complex engineering problems. Based on the current situation and existing problems of practical training in laser processing, the paper analyzes the important role of laser processing training in the “Engineering Training” course, and proposes a detailed teaching scheme for implementing comprehensive training projects. Guided by the connotation of outstanding engineer cultivation, the paper analyzes the key factors in selecting project-based teaching carriers and selects four products with different themes as teaching carriers. The course adopts project-based teaching based on the CDIO engineering education model and has achieved significant teaching outcomes. It has enhanced students’ product knowledge and project management experience, cultivated innovative thinking and practical ability, and fostered engineering professionalism and a sense of teamwork.
