Abstract
This project originates from an innovative design and competition course, aiming to design and implement a self-aiming intelligent electromagnetic cannon system. By integrating electromagnetic launch technology with an intelligent vehicle platform, the system enhances flexibility and responsiveness. It includes an electromagnetic launch mechanism, a control unit, and an intelligent vehicle. A Raspberry Pi enables real-time image recognition for automatic targeting, while an Arduino controls the firing process. ANSYS simulation demonstrates excellent acceleration and stability. The project combines hardware and software design across multiple disciplines, balancing learning and challenge, and enhances students' hands-on skills, innovation, interdisciplinary knowledge, and teamwork abilities, laying a solid foundation for engineering development.
