Abstract
Integration of medicine and engineering is an important path for Chongqing University to explore the cultivation of new medical students in recent years. Based on medical physics experimental course, a research experiment was designed and implemented to develop a flexible wearable sensor utilizing triboelectric nanogenerator technology. The goal is to establish a closed-loop pathway of “teaching–research–teaching” in the cultivation. Starting from a practical application scenario of monitoring neck movements, a fully silicone-based flexible triboelectric sensor was designed using a single-electrode mode. A simplified model was developed to investigate the influence of human body electric potential on sensor performance, and a corresponding shielding layer design was proposed. Through experimental implementation and result discussions, students were guided to explore scientific problems and develop research-oriented thinking. This experiment provides both valuable materials and a practical teaching model for enhancing the physical science literacy of medical students, offering meaningful insights into interdisciplinary talent training under the framework of medicine–engineering integration.
