Comprehensive Teaching Experiment Design for Undergraduate of Polymer Material and Engineering

  • A comprehensive teaching experiment for undergraduate of polymer material and engineering was designed in this paper. By FT-IR, DSC and TG analysis, the compositions of materials of mineral water bottle and space cup were determined, and provide reasonable explanation for a common phenomenon in the daily life, that is, mineral water bottle is easy to deform when poured into boiled water, however, space cup would be not. The comprehension between structure and properties of polymer materials was enhanced by this experiment. Effective teaching performance was obtained in several years.
