Reform WEDM Practical Training and Cultivate Engineering Quality and Innovation Ability

The content and methods of wire electrical-discharge machining (WEDM) practical training were reformed based on guiding thought of cultivating students’ engineering quality and innovation ability. Through emphasizing the process method and study, adopting project-driven mode and building open training platform, the students were transformed from passive knowledge-recipients into active knowledge-creators, the training effect was strengthened and the students’ comprehensive quality was improved.
