Syntheses of Acetanilide by Versatile Experimental MeansCultivate Students’ Innovation Abilitiy to Cultivate

  • Open experiments play an important role in integrating student’s experimental skills, and in promoting student’s innovation ability. After analysis and comparison of reported synthesis methods of acetanilide, five experimental methods are designed and realized, practice and results are discussed. The results indicate that the reflux-drying method and microwave method are better for laboratory synthesis acetanilide because their advantages in simplifying and greening procedure, shorting reaction time and improving yield.
