Teaching Reform Study of the Geomatics Program Development Course

  • This paper thoroughly analyzed the teaching problems in the geomatics program development course. Combined with the author’s teaching experience and my school practice, we introduced the CDIO engineering education to the curriculum design and implementation. Simultaneously, we designed the main teaching modules and contents of the geomatics program development course, including programming languages, database theory and application, data structures, ComGIS component development, GIS design and implementation and CASIO calculators programming module, proposed the practical ideas and suggestions for teaching reform combined with the CDIO philosophy,and provided a reference for the teaching reform and cultivating innovative talents of the geomatics program development.
