Design of Common Emitter Amplifier

  • This paper demonstrates the general process of designing a single stage Common Emitter Amplifier under certain condition. The paper mainly analyzes the selection of resistors based on β-parameter model considering both DC and AC circuits. Besides, amendments and revisions are introduced to improve the properties of the circuit to meet the standard illustrated below. Specifically, adding emitter-follower and changing of the DC supply is basic concern to maximize the voltage gain. The effect of the circuit will be measured and presented by using Multisim simulation.
