Application of Maple Software in Teaching of College Physics

The application of Maple software in the teaching of college physics is discussed in this paper, where damped vibration and forced vibration are taken as the examples. Using the powerful computing capabilities of Maple software, one can obtain the formulas of the displacements. The vibration displacement curve evolutions with different parameters can be obtained with the help of drawing function of Maple software, which can play the effect of demonstration in class. The application of Maple software in the teaching of damped vibration and forced vibration can enhance the rational understanding of the two movement patterns and improve teaching quality.
