Reasonable and Flexible Use of Multimedia to Improve the Quality of Classroom Teaching in Universities

Multimedia technology is widely used in classroom teaching of colleges and universities because of the image, vivid and intuitive form of expression. In view of characteristics of multimedia teaching, the advantages and problems of multimedia teaching were analyzed. Combining with the actual situation of teaching, the author put forward specific proposals and improvement measures. The author points out multimedia is an auxiliary means of teaching, teachers should dialectically treat multimedia, flexible and reasonable use of multimedia in classroom teaching, rationally combine traditional teaching model with multimedia teaching in order to foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses. Multimedia teaching is able to play a supporting role for teachers more effectively, promote the interest in learning and improve the quality of classroom teaching.
