Research-based Teaching Practice on Comprehensive Experiment of Materials Science

  • The research-based teaching is the combination of scientific research and teaching activity, which introduce the scientific research method, frontal research trend and novel research result into the teaching process. It is also the important approach for training the innovation thinking and capacity of the undergraduate. The experimental content, teaching method, and major character can be gradually optimized by the research-based teaching. The curiosity, enthusiasm and creativity of the undergraduate can be further developed by the reformed teaching method. It is very helpful for inspiring the undergraduate to investigate the reaction mechanism based on the problem-oriented and their interest-driven. These spontaneous learning and collaborative research behaviors are essential for the training high quality innovation talents.
