Abstract
Microbiology experimental curriculum is an important fundamental course for every professional student in comprehensive universities of life sciences. It has been a challenge to further improve the teaching quality under the open teaching mode while the time and teachers are limited. Years of practice and exploration showed that, as the bridge of teachers and students, graduates who undertook the assistant work could not only alleviate the pressure of teaching, but also promote the quality of teaching. Moreover, it was beneficial to help graduates enhance their comprehensive abilities. At the same time, the existing problems of the teaching assistant work and related teaching reform remain to be further thinking and improved.
