Convolution Teaching Simulation Design Based on Matlab—Echo System

Fundamental and definition of convolution in the course of Signal Analysis and Process was introduced.From modeling analysis to realization by Matlab software,students can be led to design an echo system by themself,using the convolution technology,which can make the students grasp the essential of convolution,impulse response and concept of system.One proposed a method to make a simulated echo system by Matlab software,taking sound signals as the excitation and response of the system.From the experiment,students can hear the echo sound from systems made by their own,which can enhance their understanding to the concept of system,improve their interests to the course,and take good effect on teaching.
