Setting up a System of Elite Education and Cultivate Innovative Talents

Combined with our university development history and characteristics of running school, considering the development of students innovation ability and cultivating elites with talent, our aim is to set up a system of elite education with class theory teaching, experimental teaching and students’ scientific and technology innovation. Relying on the national-lever electrical and electronic experimental teaching demonstration center, we are going to establish hierarchical and open style experimental teaching platform. We adopt advanced mode for in-class basic experiment, comprehensive experiment, professional experiment, and graduation design, and adopt progressive mode for the interest guidance of extracurricular science and technology innovation, basic training, skills upgrading and high-level exploration. In this case, we build integrated curriculum system inside and outside class. Also we lead students to do scientific innovation through the competition of science and technology, scientific research projects, innovation course and innovation platform. The practice shows that all these teaching reform methods really help the cultivation of innovative talents. Meanwhile, it also reflects the characteristics and innovation points of researching university.
