Research on Laboratory Management Based on the Internet of Things

  • In recent years, the internet of things (IOT) technology has been widespreadly concerned in the community. With a large number of implementation on the product based on the IOT, the realization of intelligent laboratory is no longer a distance. The main goal of this new laboratory management system is to achieve laboratory automation, networking, information, intelligence and real-time, greatly reducing the cost of personnel expenses, which will fundamentally change the consistent use of traditional Chinese Universities approach to managing laboratory situation. Some of the basic techniques of IOT was presented, and a laboratory management scheme based on IOT by using wireless sensor network (WSN), radio frequency identification (RFID) was simply designed.
