New Method of Measuring the Liquid Surface Tension

This experiment method is based on the principle of measuring liquid surface tension coefficient using the pull-out method. We measured the water surface tension coefficient by firstly using drainage method and lever principle electronic balance. The experiment results show that the experiment results measured using our experimental device are well agreement with the standard result. Compared with the traditional drainage method,measuring precision is improved largely. Our method has the advantages of simple experimental apparatus,strong operability and accurate experimental results and so on,which can be provide a new way to measure liquid surface tension coefficient.
