Design and Implementation of Assets Management Based on Two-dimensional Code

Due to the capacity limitation,the one-dimensional bar code cannot provide the detailed information of device. There are many drawbacks to use one-dimensional bar code in asset management,while the two-dimensional bar code technology can solve these defects. The feasibility of using two-dimensional bar code in asset management is discussed. An assets management of QR code encoding and decoding system in universities is designed and implemented. Our system consists of two parts,which includes QR code encoding module based on the PC and QR code decoding module based on the phone. The practice shows that the two-dimensional bar code has obvious advantages compared to one-dimensional code. The use of two-dimensional bar code improves the level of information in asset management.
