Exploration of Teaching Pattern of Information Optics Experiment

  • Numerical simulation using Matlab is introduced in the traditional information optics experiment to meet the requirements of the course and to match its theoretical course. It is found that we can take full advantage of the experimental resources and achieve the experimental goal easily. At the mean time, we cannot only train students’ experimental skills, but also practice their programming ability. Therefore, it is a new method to grade students’ theoretical learning and experimental skills. We take holographic recording and reconstruction as an example to verify that optics experiments combining with Matlab simulation are convenient ways to carry out experimental course.
