Research on the Setting up Biological Science Course to Non-biological Science Related Specialty

Biological science is the foundation of human survival and development, and cross closely with other disciplines. Therefore, the setting up of biological science courses to non-biological science majors in engineering related colleges is helpful in build students’ knowledge of science and improves the knowledge structure, and the development of cross-disciplinary. This study firstly elaborates the necessity of setting up biological science courses to non-biological sciences related major in engineering colleges, and then details the ways to implement the biology teaching of non-biological science related professional in Kunming University of Science and Technology. The result shows that it is important and feasible to create biological science course to non-biological science related professional in polytechnic colleges.
