Design and Application of Experimental Teaching Elective Reservation SystemBased on the Small Class Teaching

In order to improve the quality of teaching and the promotion of experimental laboratory management, based on the small class experimental teaching mode, this paper presents a selection and reservation system with the oracle database, established by the school of materials science and engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University.The selection system includes curriculum modules, grouping module, elective module and system maintenance module.Students choose teaching time and group to carry out small class teaching experiment activities during the experiment opening time.By the network elective mode, the curriculum contents and time were set up by the instructor, and selected by the students.Practice shows that, through the way that teachers set up guidance of courses, students freely choose experimental time and grouping, the application of the system.improves the experimental teaching efficiency, and promotes the teaching management.
