Study on Temperature Difference and Electric Potential of Copper and Iron Thermocouple by the Experimental

  • To let the students understand the working principle of the thermocouple in the experiment, the thermocouple produced by their own is calibrated so as to deepen their understanding of temperature difference and the theoretical knowledge of electric potential. The common two kinds of different metallic materials of copper and iron can produce entity to demonstrate the thermoelectric phenomenon.By organically integrating the thermology and the electrology, we can convert the measurement of the non-electric temperature to the measurement of electric quantity. This experiment can not only intuitively and accurately demonstrate the Seebeck effect and Pearl post effect, but also expand the students knowledge, satisfy the curiosity of the students, guide students interested in contemporary industrial development, improve the students to re-understanding of experimental class.
